Background:
Wesley H. Holliday is Professor of Philosophy and Chair of the Group in Logic and the Methodology of Science at Berkeley. His research interests are in logic and in social choice theory, including applications of social choice to electoral reform and to AI alignment. He is an affiliate of the Institute for Mathematics and Democracy, an affiliate of the Center for Human-Compatible AI, and a co-organizer of the workshop series on Social Choice for AI Ethics and Safety (SC4AI).
