About the Event

Come hear about the new Kavli Center for Ethics, Science, and the Public and opportunities to get involved!

Join us for a celebration and half day program followed by a catered lunch. Make new connections and see old collegues.

The half day, in-person, event will feature:

  • Short talks on ethical challenges in genome editing, AI, and neuroscience
  • Panel discussions on integrating sciences, humanities, and public engagement
  • Food and drinks reception

This panel will explore the challenges and opportunities of bringing these disciplines together, the Kavli Center's approach to training the next generation, and how three scientific areas may learn from eachother.

Location and Parking

The Kavli Center launch will be held at the Innovative Genomics Institute Building | 2151 Berkeley Way, Berkeley, CA 94720

Street parking in the immediate vicinity typically has a 2-hour limit. UC Berkeley Permit parking is available in the Genetics Garage and there are visitor parking garages in the area.
